It is necessary for our therapists to collect and store personal information that clients provide to us. This is for the purposes of identification and communication, and to access suitability and adaptation of the services offered. Our lawful basis for the collection of personal data is that we have a legitimate interest; in that it is necessary to deliver our services safely, and in accordance with our insurance and professional body requirements. Data is collected with consent of the individual.
Once received, this information will be treated as private and confidential and stored securely. You have the right to request access to the information that we hold on you; in part or in full. A copy will be provided to you within a period of 28 days free of charge. If you believe that any data we hold is inaccurate you have the right to have this data updated. For the purposes of non-specific communication, such as events, promotions, newsletters etc; we have an opt-in policy to which you can opt-out at any time. All contact made in this way will have clear instructions on how to opt out of future communications.
When providing our services to a minor, we classify a child as someone under the age of 18. Any data collected from a minor will need the consent of a parent or guardian as well as the child. The data will be collected, processed and stored in the same manner as for an adult.
